In Weddings

Stunning photos of Ysella and Adam’s romantic and intimate wedding. They celebrated Valentine’s weekend with their closest friends and family and 32 guests stayed at the venue for the whole weekend.

The Barn decorated with bunting and fairy lights and Gypsophila tied to the chair ends created a dreamy setting for their ceremony. In the Green Room dusty pink roses and Gypsophila filled jam jars with handmade sliced wood log chargers.

A lovely personal touch was their table plan. Ysella works with horses and their table plan was named after different breeds of horses.

Post ceremony, Ysella and Adam donned their wellies and adventured off for some romantic couple photos in the grounds before returning to the Green Room to enjoy a BBQ dinner with their guests.

Here’s what Ysella and Adam had to say about their Wedding at The Green;

We both fell in love with the idea of having our wedding at The Green; we put down the deposit before we had even seen the venue in person. We travelled down to Cornwall to visit family in august and took the opportunity to see the venue in for the first time and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by Michelle and the lovely owners and shown around the green room, wedding barn, cottages and the house. The venue looked as beautiful and full of character as it did on the website. What surprised me most on the tour of the property was all the little details they had thought of to make the venue even better, like butting and fairy lights in the wedding barn to a special speaker system that directs the sound onto the dance floors so not to drown out people having conversations. We left the green having had all our questions answered and feeling very happy and excited to have the green as our wedding venue.

The time between our visit to the green and our wedding flew by (we only had 6 months to plan the whole thing), but Michelle and the team were always in contact keeping us informed of any changes and answering any questions we had. There was a very good varied selection of menus to choice from for the wedding breakfast and evening food and we were given the opportunity to attend a tasting day but we could not attend so decided to pick a BBQ style menu.

The day before the wedding we arrived and were given the keys for all the accommodation and had meeting with the caterer, Michelle the wedding planner and Kate who would be there throughout the day organizing the events. During this informal meeting we sat down and talked through the schedule of the wedding day, which helped settle our nerves. We were given access to the green room and wedding barn to set up and provided with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests began to arrive and we showed them to their accommodation and every single guest thought the accommodations were stunning, no doubt 5*.

The day of the wedding ran so smoothly and stress free but flew by. The staff was very friendly and professional and our guests enjoyed the whole day. Everything was perfect. We cannot thank the staff at The Green enough and would highly recommend The Green to anyone who wants a stress free wedding!

A huge thanks to the Ysella and Adam for sharing and to Victoria Walker Photography http://www.victoriawalkerphotography.co.uk for taking these pics.

The Green is a year round venue and is perfect for winter weddings with loads of heated indoor space and most of our couples get outside for some pictures too.
