Green we are looking for a well-organised and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Wedding Event Manager.
The scope of this role covers all elements of the preparation, running and close down of the event. This includes reviewing the detailed plan for the day with the couple before the wedding, setting and preparing the venue for the wedding, being the single point of contact for all guests and suppliers during the day and managing bar staff and our in house catering team on the day.
This is a demanding role and therefore requires a candidate with exceptional organisational and planning skills, a personality to be an excellent front of house and to be able to deliver our high standards of customer service personally and from the whole team. The candidate should have the ability to operate in a professional and calm manner throughout a busy event. Experience working in a similar hospitality business would be very useful.
The hours are around 32 hours per week working during the week and at weekends as required. Schedule is normally planned well in advance. This has every chance of being extended as the business grows.
We are looking for a property maintenance person to help maintain our onsite accommodation and function areas to a high standard. We have onsite accommodation for 32 people and 4 function rooms.
The candidate would work on routine general maintenance problems, routine checks and identify future planned projects. We need someone to take ownership of site maintenance with support from our small management team.
Repair work is required on our change over days and routine and improvement maintenance is scheduled around our events calendar. The majority of the maintenance work is within office hours there might be some work that requires a call out outside normal hours.
The Candidate would need:
Experience and proven track record in property maintenance covering the following areas:
The ability to effectively solve problems, an eye for detail and the desire to deliver an excellent result
To be self-motivated and the skill set to work on your own but also good customer facing skills as the work might be responding to a problem identified by a customer
To be able to effectively communicate issues and results to our team
We would prefer someone local to our site to be able to respond to any call out issues when they occasionally occur.
Core hours would be 15 hours per week but hours and rate are dependent on the individual and their experience.
