In September, we had the most wonderful wedding day at The Green. We were married in the beautiful barn, and then ambled through The Green's woods and around the lake having our photos taken by the wonderful Mark of Evolve who was very patient with us and had the best sense of humour. We can't thank the team at The Green enough for their humour, warmth, kindness and friendliness, and for their attentiveness, service and professionalism. The wonderful Fiona looked after us very well - nothing was too much trouble, our every need and wish was pre-empted and provided for. Steve the wonderful Chef cooked for us the most amazing three course meal in the evening at the cottage we stayed at in the grounds of The Green. The cottage was perfect - the interior was modern, light, spacious and airy - a real home from home, so comfortable - everything so well thought out.

The Green were absolutely amazing! From the initial meeting before we had even booked The Green, right up until the day after the wedding, they were brilliant. The Green were so great through the whole planning process and helped us make sure everything was ready and planned in advance. The place is so vibrant and beautiful
OMG! My other half and I got married here Feb 2023 and it was magical so much more than we could’ve asked for, the staff were fabulous especially Sophie and Monica who kept us both calm and sane throughout the three days we were there. The food was amazing and all our guests said how the vegetarian/vegan options were the best they’ve ever had at a wedding!! The whole venue is gorgeous and is just worth every penny you spend, we only opted for simple decorations as you really don’t need a lot because the place is so vibrant and beautiful. We got so lucky with the weather considering it’s February in Cornwall however I don’t think rain or snow or a storm could’ve ruined the day. Amazing on every level
Wow where do we start to say how great our day was with you at the Green. Honestly it was the best day ever, if we could do it all again we would. If we were to do it again, we would do exactly as it was on Saturday. It was so amazing on every level, it gave us everything we wanted and more. From the moment we visited the Green back in Nov 2021 we fell in love with the place, and you bent over backwards to help us at every stage, even when we were constantly having to change the table plans right up to hours before the breakfast.
Please do pass on our thanks to Sophie and Amber, who were by our sides during the day. They calmed our nerves, and supported us. The thing I liked was that they were not pushy at any moment, but just helpful in navigating us through the day. All the feedback we have had from guests have been so complimentary of the venue as well, they loved the location, loved the set up, loved the food. The food was outstanding, as it was on the tasting day. The pasties went down a treat. We want to get married again at the Green.

Our Indian wedding dream came true
Fiona, Sarah, Amber, Sophie, Paul and the whole team at The Green are phenomenal. We had our Hindu Indian Wedding at The Green and we could not have wished for a better venue. We were hoping to have our Indian wedding in India but when COVID hit this was not an option. From the minute we started speaking with The Green about what they could offer, we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. Nothing was ever too much of an ask and then allowed us to bring India to Cornwall! Their genuine desire to make your wedding the best it can be is real. They go all out from the planning stage all the way until you are driving away when everything is over! They are incredible both as creative planners, helping with ideas, to on the day managers - basically sorting everything out for you - including helping the bride in the bathroom! They become a part of the wedding family during the day and all our guests found the staff and Amber and Sophie to be especially amazing. Food wise we cannot say enough good words. When we told The Green we were looking to have our Indian Wedding there, they were happy to create an entirely bespoke Indian wedding menu for us. To the point that the chefs had not even heard of some of the dishes we had requested! But even then, nothing was too much of an ask! The chefs were INCREDIBLE and made some of the best Indian food we had ever tasted. Many guests asked us who our Indian wedding caterers were!! THAT’S how amazing the Green are. We almost wish we could have another wedding just to go back and do it all again! If you are thinking about having your wedding at the Green, you should go with them. I went to my son's wedding and the venue was out of this world. We have been to a lot of weddings around the world and this was one of the best we have been to. The best day!
We are so glad we picked The Green as our wedding venue. The grounds, accommodation and barns are beautiful and the staff and just wonderful. From the moment we went to view the venue they made everything so easy and as stress free as possible. The fact the you get a whole package deal really was great as it took a lot of the pressure off with booking suppliers etc. On the day of the wedding Tash put us at ease straight away and went above and beyond for us, she was absolutely great and we couldn't have asked for more. The planning experience is made very easy ...
Well, where do I start?! The whole experience from booking our Wedding to the day we left everything was perfect. We booked during Covid so just did a video tour. When we were finally allowed to visit we were blown away by the venue. It's just beautiful. The planning experience is made very easy by the team here and they guide you through every step of the way. When the day/weekend finally arrived we felt so relaxed as the team were there to help with every little detail. We hired the whole venue for the weekend including all of the accommodation. All of our guests were extremely happy with their rooms/cottages. We actually haven't had any complaints from anyone about anything. Even on the actual Wedding day we were very chilled. Everything went so well, again mainly due to the staff just knowing exactly how to help. The food was just amazing, the Friday night, both breakfasts, the Wedding breakfast and the fish and chip van on the Saturday night was all just lovely. I loved everything about it - we booked the venue blindly and didn't see it until the day before we arrived for the wedding. The guests loved the facilities and the cottages were clean and tidy. Never rushed
We had our wedding here in July 2022. From our very first meetings we were impressed with the friendly and professional staff at The Green, from cleaners, office staff, serving staff, kitchen staff - all were super. The staff were particularly good at putting us at ease, answering all our questions and making useful suggestions. Despite this being an almost non-stop wedding venue with weddings almost every day, we always felt that we were treated as if we were the only ones getting married. Never rushed. We had 60 guests staying and they were all impressed with the clean and very comfortable accommodation. The Wedding Barn looked beautiful for the ceremony as did the dining room for the meal and ceilidh/disco. The meal was amazing - top restaurant quality from canapes, to the main meal and even the evening pasties. The site itself is beautiful with lots of walks, a lake and amazing views of green and wooded hills. The gardens around the buildings are all well maintained as are the paths. They pull out all the stops
We got married here yesterday. We knew as soon as we got there that this venue was the one for us, it’s beautiful and they pull out all of the stops. Throughout the entire day (and following morning), guests were talking about how amazing everything was, from the accommodation, food, views and service. They took a lot of the work out of the planning for the day for us, they offer most of the services you need for the day - when talking to friends who have had less inclusive experiences, it is clear that the way that the green operates removes a lot of the stress out of the planning! You don’t need to bring any extra decorations to make the venue look amazing, but their green touches are there if you need them! Our wedding Co-Ordinator on the day, Sophie, was amazing and helped whenever needed, as well as giving advice for anything we were uncertain of. The bar staff were also great, talking to anyone who came to the bar and even remembering parts of conversations to talk about later on, exemplifying the best type of service needed for a special day. "We had our wedding here in April, we fell in love with the Green as soon as we saw pictures online of the venue and past weddings and booked our date before seeing the venue! (This was during covid, and we were asked on the phone if we were sure we wanted to book before visiting) Once we booked, we had great communication from Sarah, Moira and the rest of the team. We ended up going for a cheeky visit in July to have a little look around and then to a taster day in November last year, we were so glad we did as it just took the venue to the next level so much better than the pictures and we got to sample the food!!Everything was so easy as they had so much information for you from preferred suppliers to their 'green touches' where you can hire decorations etc. The accommodation is spot on, and everyone commented on it, saying how beautiful it is and well looked after the whole venue is. The Arbours, function rooms, wedding barn and all amenities are perfectly set up and look stunning even as they are. We opted for the 2-night exclusive package, and we all had such a wonderful time, and we were so glad we did as it gave people a chance to chat and get to know each other better for the next day! We booked all the accommodation, there were 47 of us all together including 15 children (age 1-16) and family dog. The food was on another level....so tasty and incredibly well put together. We had a welcome meal the night before which was their new street food menu, and it was just perfect it’s just how we imagined and everyone loved it with plenty to go around (and both sets of family enjoy their grub lol) We had a few members of family that had allergies and the green went above and beyond to make sure they did not go without and the guests have all commented on how special it made them feel! The actual wedding meal was out of this world from the starter to the dessert and again everyone commented on how lovely the food was. The most seamless and beautiful of wedding days
We booked our venue at The Green Cornwall way beyond 3 years ago now. Upon visiting we knew in a second it was the venue for us. The ease of everything being together and the beautiful setting was perfect. During the covid pandemic the shine of planning our day tarnished somewhat. We struggled with bigger things and the constant rollercoaster of worry, loss, stress and change took its toll and we were really over the whole ‘bells and whistles’ approach to getting married. As a bride I had become fearful of being demanding in our worry and just switched off of the whole process when it seemed like it would never happen. But then our day finally arrived, the new date held out - just! We met Sophie at the Green who orchestrated the day and put us at ease completely! Our day ran through beautifully from start to finish and we couldn’t have been happier. Autumn Wedding
I don’t know where to begin, this place has been the most beautiful and heartwarming venue I have ever booked. From the minute we visited The Green we knew we wanted it to be our wedding venue! The ladies were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for me and my husband. 2 days before the wedding the evening van cancelled on us, The Green(Amber specifically) quickly helped make plans with their caterer to give us exactly what we was having from the previous caterer and at around the same pricing. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
We fell in love with The Green in 2018. We were taken with the relaxed atmosphere, the potential of the space, the natural beauty and grounds, and the idea of an all inclusive, dedicated weekend. Even though we had to wait an extra year, we got everything we were promised and more. It wasn’t always easy, planning and replanning our day thanks to Covid, but the team at The Green made sure when our day arrived, it was perfect. Moira and Sarah put up with a very stressed bride for 3 years and Monika welcomed us on our wedding eve and made us feel so at ease and excited. However, our day would not have been what it was if it wasn’t for Sophie. She was there from early in the morning until way after the last drink making sure everything went smoothly. She took care of everything and made sure we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Everyone commented on how well the day flowed and that is down to Sophie. From getting people where they needed to be to crawling along the floor to stay out of photographer shots; she went above and beyond. Beyond What We Dreamed!
Had our wedding at the Green on 17/07/21. Arrived on the Friday to have the whole venue to ourselves for the weekend. Its such an incredible venue. Sarah, the wedding planning has been incredible of the last two years during the planning process and helped us not to worry about the covid restrictions. From the moment we arrived at the Green Amber and Erica were incredible, making sure the whole weekend ran smoothly. No need to dress the place up because it is just gorgeous as it is and so well looked after. We had our wedding moved due to Covid and the help we had from the team was fantastic, understanding and helpful they made it all as stress free as it could have been. We would choose The Green every time
We booked with The Green for a Decembe 2021 wedding following our engagement in 2019. The Green were continuously helpful with our booking and answered every question we had either via email or during our visit. We had booked to see 5 venues over a weekend when we were deciding were to book, The Green was the first and last place we went too, we didn't need or want to see other venues as the atmosphere and welcoming surroundings of The Green really pulled us in. So we booked with The Green and begun planning, they were always on hand if we needed anything and the way they have set up their wedding packages mean you really don't have to organise much, as it is mostly all included! Throughout our planning the COVID fun started, and The Green were very open and honest about our options if we had to change the date of our wedding or any restrictions that may affect us. Luckily, we weren't effected at all in Dec 2021 as all restrictions were lifted, but this strong communications and guidance from them set us at ease. The day itself was perfect, we had a final planning meeting with Monika on the day before and she had prepared everything for us, the venue is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to spend time with family away. It sleeps 42 people meaning you can have a lot of your closest guests nearby and the bars and different rooms are beautifully finished and rustic. The staff who worked during the wedding were always helpful and kind and really helped to make it a lovely atmosphere. We weren't able to make it to a tasting day due to our busy schedules so we did not get to trial any food until the wedding day! However, the food was incredible, from the sharing platters to the canapes and everything in between it was all delicious, well cooked and served beautifully. We opted for basically every Green Touch which are additional extras such as sparklers, pom pom confetti and wedding voiles. These were easy to add and remove from our booking if we needed and they really tied the venue together for us making it perfect. The surrounding grounds are perfect for your photographs and provide an excellent overlook at the Cornish scenery. The Green was the perfect wedding venue for us, if we were getting married again, we would choose The Green every time.Callum G - December 2021

Covid delays of a year, Cornish winter storms - nothing spoiled the day for Sophie - Granddaughter to Trudy and Tony and her now husband Ben. The "Green Team" went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect for the Bride and Groom. The whole day from start to finish was perfect in every way. A Perfect Day
We had our Wedding here at the end of October 2021. From the moment I arrived in my vintage car driving up the lane towards The Green the magical day began. The staff were professional and friendly and took care of everything. A beautiful ceremony in the wedding barn, a blessing and a surprise guard of honour made the day very special. The food was amazing in the red brick barn. The rustic barn made a great play barn for the children and they had great fun smashing the Pinatas. We had an amazing time with family and friends. Where do I begin with the green?! Honestly if you're looking for the most beautiful, organised, laid back wedding venue then this is your place! Everyone who came to our special day couldn't believe how beautiful every single part of the venue was & how organised the staff are. I have not been stressed atall to the lead up to our big day and I really think the staff here play a massive part in this. They put your mind at ease & have answered any questions before you can even ask! This elopement was perfection, and we didn’t want to leave. The location was wonderful, the cottage clean and spacious with a beautiful welcome hamper upon arrival. The team couldn’t be kinder, and managed the wedding from start to end. They allowed my crazy woofs to join us at the wedding making it one to truly remember. The Green organised a fantastic photographer, recommended someone for my hair and make up making the process seamless. My daughter's wedding - perfection
We have just returned from a weekend here celebrating my daughter's wedding. The Green is just such a perfect venue. We had the full use of the venue from Friday to Sunday. The accommodation on site holds 32 and each and every one one of the rooms/cottages and house are first class. Lovely decor with everything you will need. During the months of build up to the wedding the green were always there to answer any questions. The grounds are beautiful but unfortunately the weather wasn't that kind to us. The whole day went to perfection with the help of Catherine who was amazing and just had everything organised to the last detail. This lady was a godsend that weekend. We were able to decorate the rooms on the Friday. We had a family gathering on the Friday night which was lovely start to the weekend. The morning of the wedding was relaxed and comfortable and was the start to an amazing day. The service was in the ceremony bar which was so warm and cosy. The wedding breakfast was incredible. Fresh tasty food. The service was perfect and not rushed. Catherine was always on hand checking things. The evening went fantastically. The dj who they use was perfect and followed our play list requests. The pasties at night went down well. The next morning we all had the cooked breakfast together in the green room which was a lovely end to a fantastic weekend. All our decorations were all put away for us and ready to collect.This is a perfect venue and every one who was there were blown away by the whole weekend . So easy and magical!
We eloped! And everything was so easy and magical. I had to call to doublecheck I wasn’t forgetting anything, but I wasn’t! The whole team had our wedding under control, and it was the best day of our lives, truly. We arrived the day before, the cottage was beautiful and filled with so many delicious treats. We were met by the amazing Cathryn the day before, and although she wasn't our witness she did an amazing job of explaining how our day would run and relaying our wants to wonderful Andrea. Our private chef was wonderful, he cooked the most delicious 3-course meal for us- it was a perfect way to end the day. The grounds were stunning, and it was all-round the calmest I have ever felt. The staff felt like members of the family; they were just as excited for us as we were. I was sad to have left them without a proper goodbye. Despite not getting married in our original location due to the weather (it didn’t matter in the end!) we got married in the beautifully decorated barn. It didn’t matter that it was just us two, Andrea pulled out all the stops to ensure our wedding was perfect – everything from helping me put on my dress, to decorating the arbour after the ceremony for photographs. I am truly blessed to have found the green – just a wonderful location with the most wonderful, down to earth staff. And the photos on the grounds and surrounding area were breath-taking, the location makes the photos and this was the best location for us. Setting is unreal
couldn't recommend The Green enough! Yesterday was the best day of my new wife and I's life and it wouldn't have been possible without this incredible venue and the amazing staff. We would honestly recommend The Green to anybody wanting to either elope or have a wedding with guests. We eloped and it was the most fantastic experience in our lives. The cottage was beautiful, the staff were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you were happy and the food was impeccable (thank you Ian). What's not to love
What is there not to love? From start to finish our wedding day (weekend) at The Green was just perfect. The location, setting, venue, food and people were just incredible. Andrea is an absolute star who made our day run so smoothly and I know my niece, Ellie, wants to come back and help you host some more weddings. Nothing is too much trouble for the team! The best day of our lives
I cannot recommend The Green enough! My husband and I got married there at the end of April this year and it was honestly the best day of our lives! The staff, the accommodation, the food, the location, all absolutely incredible and could not fault a single thing! Our lovely Wedding day co-ordinator, Andrea, looked after us all day with so much care and attention. She was always there on the side lines if anyone needed anything, we cannot thank her enough! Magical wedding venue
After 20 years me my partner decided it was time to tie the knot, just the two of us. Well we picked the most magical venue set in beautiful Cornish countryside. The Green in Cornwall we had the most magical wedding day,We arrived the day before. Greeted by our lovely wedding planner and wittiness Andrea .The next day we got married by the lake Mark our photographer captured. Everything on camera the estate is magical in spring. Then we had our wedding breakfast meal served in the cottages by Ian who cooked us most amazing dinner . Staff were brilliant
We had our wedding at the Green last October and we couldn’t have been happier with it. Being very local to the area it was great to find such a nice venue so close to home and all the staff were brilliant from start to finish and just the right amount of helpful but out of the way on the day. My wife and I had our wedding at The Green a couple of weeks ago and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting to tie the knot. We hired the venue for the entire weekend which included the cottage accommodation for our friends and family for 2 nights. The build up was just so exciting!
My husband and I had a weekend wedding at The Green over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We cannot recommend The Green enough. The preparation and organising the big day with Michelle and Fiona was simple, organised and exciting! Any problems which arose they sorted as soon as possible and made us feel at ease. The build up was just so exciting! The venue is just perfect for the weekend wedding, we used all available rooms for close family and friends because they were just brilliant. All our guests loved their accommodation. The only problem you’ll have is choosing where to get ready! There’s so much choice! The day itself was an absolute dream. I am one for worrying about the littlest thing and I was the most relaxed and chilled bride from the Friday night to the Sunday morning. Catherine was amazing. She ran through everything with us to make sure that we were happy with everything then took control. The day ran smoothly and everyone enjoyed themselves. I wouldn’t change a thing about our weekend. The food was wonderful. All our guests spoke highly of it all and I don’t think any table left any! Definitely make use of all the different areas of The Green. There are so many photo opportunities and we are just so in love with all of ours! It has so much to offer. It was just amazing!! Just perfect in every way
We hosted our daughter's wedding here at the beginning of June. It really is a wonderful venue. From arrival on Friday to departure on Sunday, Andrea was with us every step of the way. She is efficient and calm but assertive and just kept things moving. The venue is just perfect as it is. My daughter traveled from abroad for her wedding so had just 2 weeks to plan the decor. But she told me that after looking at some photos she knew that even with no personal touches the reception room would still look fabulous. And it did.You can easily go over the top with flowers and cards and lights and voile drapes but for us it was just classy with minimal extra touches. That's a good word actually. It is a very classy venue. There are numerous outdoor and indoor locations for the wedding and for photo opportunities. We had perfect sunshine but don't worry if it is wet. The indoor spaces are just as picturesque. Try the Rustic Barn for lovely shots. All the accommodation is top notch, although it could do with some air-conditioning in the cottages. It seems churlish to complain when we spent the weeks leading up to the big day praying for sunshine but it was a still, airless night and too hot to sleep. And that was without the excitement and nerves! The food served was excellent too. You get loads of choices from the menu and lots of options for evening food and extras. We has pasties in the evening. Now this is Cornwall so I was expecting them to be good but really they were the best. They were served really hot, and went down a treat with all our guests. We also had scones with jam first as canapes, and these were lovely too. All in all a perfect weekend. Just one criticism, it went by too quickly and I want to do it all again.LesleyH7 - June 2019
Every need catered for
We have just returned from a two night stay at the Green, as wedding guests. The accommodation is fabulous, very well thought out, your every need is catered for, from welcoming milk, tea, coffee, to ironing boards, magazines and games! Our cottage was immaculate, clean and tidy. The main house is beautifully appointed also and became the focal point of our stay. The staff were so professional and unobtrusive, friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous, tasty and delivered with panache and flair, the bar was well stocked and sensibly priced, it would be very easy to exploit the guests but they don’t. There is a questionnaire in the cottage for guests to report on what they liked and what could be done better. The answer to question two was ....absolutely nothing! Everywhere was immaculate
My daughter and son in law's wedding took place here at the end of March. It was an amazing venue and a perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. We could bring our dogs
Would like to thank all the lovely staff at the green for the most perfect few days in Cornwall for our small wedding. We travelled all the way from Essex as we loved the look of this natural relaxed venue where we could bring our dogs with us and we wasn’t disappointed. The most amazing weekend
My husband and I got married at The Green last month and I it was everything that we could have wished for and that was down to the amazing staff that work here. When we first visited the venue as a potential for our wedding we met Fiona who was very lovely and helpful answering all of our questions. Once we booked the dates I was in touch with Michelle via email, she was so organised and helped to keep me on track! Everything was so easy to organise with her help. When it came to the actual day Andrea was absolutely fantastic, everything ran seamlessly and she was just the perfect person to have in charge. She even made sure that I had pizza at the end of the night. We were so lucky to have amazing weather which meant a quick change of direction to have the wedding outside. I didn’t plan for an outdoors wedding initially but the arbour is a lovely setting without extra decorations so it didn’t matter that I wasn’t as prepared. After the wedding we had drinks on the patio of the Green Bar before heading into the red brick for food. The food was outstanding - cannot compliment the chefs enough, thank you for adding my favourite sticky toffee to the menu!! We had 30 of our close family and friends staying on site on the Friday and Saturday night to celebrate with us. This was perfect, everyone had such a good time on the Friday it felt like our own little wedding village with the house & cottages all close together. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough for a wedding the pictures are absolutely stunning and everyone had such a great time including us. I wish I could do it all over again & I wouldn’t change one thing. Wonderful intimate wedding
We had a wonderful intimate wedding at The Green on 5/11/18! It was a small wedding with just 20 guests, including 6 children. We hired the main house and two of the cottages for our guests, and married in the barn! The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We literally had the venue to ourselves and it felt such a private event that we could all truly relax! After being welcomed by Charli in a very professional manner we were left to enjoy the space. The barn was gorgeous and needed little decoration...it was the perfect spot to share our special moments and looked amazing in the pictures! The most impressive thing about The Green is the high standards they have in all areas...service was wonderful, Louise looked after us in the house and seemed to know everyone’s name within hours! She looked after everyone so well and especially helped cater to the needs of the children which was amazing! Tom cooked our canapés, wedding meal and our breakfast the next morning....everything was perfect, literally there were no faults and the food was plentiful! I have to mention the abundance of fantastic suppliers in the area...who seem to work effortlessly with the staff at The Green! Our wedding at The Green was absolutely incredible
The venue is stunning and so well maintained not even a blade of grass out of place! The staff here are amazing every single one of them are so helpful and go above and beyond to make sure the whole day goes smoothly and as planned! Wow what can I say about The Green apart from perfect! A truly beautiful wedding venue. My husband and I got married here in December 2018 and from the first visit we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Fiona was really kind and helpful with showing us around and we soon booked our wedding. The organisation process was stress free and everything went so smoothly. An amazing wedding venue we spent 2 nights here last weekend truly beautiful setting we hired the whole pace our party stayed in “the house “ 12 of us were so comfortable the house is fully equipped for all. Everything was just amazing
We really could not of picked a more perfect wedding venue. The location, staff, accommodation, Food ..everything was just amazing. Nothing was to much trouble and the staff so brilliantly accommodating. Having our Labrador Cassie as dog of honour was a real highlight. Perfect elopement
We booked the elopement package for Sept & the booking/planning was easy & straightforward. All staff we dealt with beforehand were lovely and were the same when we arrived making us feel at ease. The grounds were beautiful with different choices for the ceremony location, Charlie went through everything with us for the big day and made us feel relaxed! Our cottage was lovely and spacious with beautiful views - the arrival hamper was a nice touch with scones, champagne & chocolates. The Green gives you lots of information on local amenities so we had a lovely meal out the night before our wedding. The day of our wedding was nice and chilled, just before the ceremony Charlie came to the cottage with our registrars who were really friendly. We were married at the lake arbour shortly after and had some beautiful photos taken by Mimosa Photography (The Green organised this for us). It was exactly how we wanted it, laid back and fuss free. After this we were left to relax at our cottage for a couple hours before our chef came to cook our meal. I was worried it would be awkward but our chef was really friendly like everyone else & it was casual and laid back - I was in my pj’s! (being 7 month pregnant this was perfect ha). The food was amazing! Our stay ended with a lovely breakfast hamper from The Green and we said our goodbyes. A dream venue for our dream day!
Due to how far away we live from The Green we had not seen the venue prior to booking. We were apprehensive that it may not live up to the pictures but our concerns were instantly dispersed upon arrival. We were blown away by the venue and the grounds. The views across Cornwall were breathtaking. Upon arriving we were greeted by Cath and given a tour. Cath was very welcoming and always had a smile on her face. When we were showed the ceremony room the scene could only be described as magical and we found ourselves speechless at how perfect it looked. The cottages were also amazing, well equipped, clean and extremely comfortable. The layout of the venue allowed complete privacy for us and our guests. We were guided through our big day brilliantly. Nothing felt rushed or forced and every little detail was attended to culminating in the most amazing ceremony. We also want to pay tribute to The Green and the Registrars on the level of care taken towards our child throughout the ceremony. They made sure that he felt comfortable and made every consideration to his feelings and needs during such a high emotion event. We chose to have the three course wedding breakfast and it was incredible. Every single guest commented on how amazing the food looked and tasted. It was clear that The Green and its catering/kitchen team have a high level of dedication to the quality and presentation of the food they serve. We also had a few guests with dietary requirements and it was great to see such importance put on making sure these requirements were met. Although the venue and location were spectacular, we are keen to put a big emphasis on is how amazing the staff were. The level of care and planning that was put into all elements of our stay and big day were exemplary. We have so much gratitude and thanks for not only the professionalism and consideration shown to absolutely every detail but for the truly human side to each and every staff member. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we feel the staff more than helped to make our day such a great one. Most reviews would normally have some negatives to highlight but we quite literally can't think of anything bad to say about our time and experiences at The Green. We had the most amazing day and can't thank The Green and it's incredible staff enough. They exceeded our expectations by a very large margin and we would highly recommend The Green to any future Brides & Grooms who are looking to have a magical Cornish wedding. Our wedding at The Green was in August 2018. We had booked it in 2016 and they had been excellent since the first viewing. They replied to every email promptly and were able to answer all our concerns & queries. On the day, it was perfectly managed and stress-free for us both as they had everything handled. The staff were excellent and made sure that everything ran smoothly and we were not aware of any disruptions to our day. We cannot praise the Green highly enough! The venue was in an ideal location and with such flexibility with the on site facilities it was perfect! From start to finish the team were so professional and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was so easy to organise
Lee and I eloped to Cornwall to get married with just our pups as our guests. We didn't visit The Green before the wedding and they didn't disappoint. Everything was so easy to organise and very relaxed. The most wonderful place to get married
The Green was just the most wonderful place to get married. We knew we wanted a small wedding with time for everyone to get to know each other and The Green was so perfect for this. We arranged our own food in the main house the evening before our wedding and had breakfast provided the morning after so everyone could be together before leaving and it was magical. It's also completely stunning, the house, barns and cottages are all really beautiful and the surroundings are amazing. Perfect Cornish wedding venue
We had our wedding here in August and it was a fantastic day from beginning to end. The team are obviously really experienced and provide everything you need from the first time you get in touch up until the big day. They were always quick at getting back to us with our numerous requests and full of good advice on preparing for our wedding. The venue is beautiful with the Cornish countryside in full view with lots of options for different sizes of weddings. We had about 100 people at our wedding and the venue didn't feel cramped at all. There is a big area to explore with lots of outside space. We were really lucky that the weather held out for us so that we could make full use of it all. A day we will never forget
we knew from the second we arrived, that this was the place we wanted to get married. We booked our intimate wedding for July 2018 and I have to say the entire experience of getting married at The Green was nothing less than perfect. Everything about our stay; from moment we pulled up outside our cottage, until the morning that we had to leave was wonderful. The venue itself feels beautifully private, secluded and absolutely stunning and the grounds are kept and maintained to an incredibly high standard. The views for miles around consists of picture perfect hillsides, valleys, meadows, woodland and luscious greenery. The cottage that we stayed in (number 2) was incredible, again, surrounded by pretty, idyllic grounds with everything that you would possibly need for a 3 night stay. The bed was heavenly; the comfiest bed I have ever slept in, making it very hard to get out of! The safe and secure outdoor area was perfect for the children who spent hours outdoors in the sunshine, playing on the fields and in the children play area. On arrival, Kate, from The Green came to greet us. She went through all of the fine details of our wedding day and she really helped us to understand how the day would unfold. In the run up to the wedding, we had regular contact with Michelle, who really couldn’t do enough to help! The actual event was run by Fiona and her style of event management is utterly perfect. She took charge, from the background, gently guiding us through the three days we were there. Even to the point of lifting my very short legged dog up the steps of the wedding barn, and lifting my dress to allow me to walk when my groom got sidetracked socialising. Upon arrival we were apprehensive, but from the moment we got out of the car we knew we were in totally safe hands. Being met by Michelle we were relaxed by the assertiveness and confident manner which automatically put us at ease. We checked into our cottage and 30 minutes later Michelle answered any questions we had guiding us step by step through the schedule of our wedding day. On the day, Charlotte, another professional member of the green's team, reassured us both of any worries and nerves. Always available from start to finish, she was fantastic. The Venue Was Amazing
The venue was amazing, we had cottage one for us and the house for our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. Snow On Our Wedding Day
Our wedding was in February. We viewed The Green on a wet misty summers day with the idea of a winter wedding. We thought it would be the perfect setting, as it looked lovely on that day with lots of space if it was wet. We didn’t even entertain the idea of snow on our wedding day. Luckily for us The Green are very organised, this was one of the things I liked throughout the planning. They were only an email away and Michelle was very efficient in her response. The taster day was lovely and it was great to sample the delicious food and look around again. My beautiful wife and I decided to elope instead of having a big wedding. We booked this amazing venue on the strength of their website which is excellently set out and easy to navigate. Having decided on an elopement wedding we searched for a venue and found The Green and we are so glad that we did! Our Families Loved It Too
From the moment I first contacted The Green, they were professional, friendly and helpful. We are not from the area and they recommend photographers and wedding cake makers, which we found so helpful. They always answered any questions we had in a timely manner and welcomed us when we visited the year before. The location is just stunning, rolling green hills for miles! Accommodation was great, fully equipped kitchens. Didn’t need to ask for anything. When we arrived for the wedding the day before, they met us and talked through how the day would go, which helped to put us at ease. Most Wonderful Wedding Weekend
From the moment we arrived at The Green to view it I knew we would tie the knot here. The setting is idyllic, calming and romantic. We were greeted warmly and it was so perfect that we booked it there and then. Throughout the planning Michelle was great, guiding us through and making sure we didn't overlook anything. Our taster day was a fantastic. We had 70 guests for dinner the evening before which went so smoothly, giving us a relaxed space to catch up with people the day before knowing we were in safe hands. On the day Kate was a wondeful calming influence and was there to advise and solve. Our meal was sublime. The staff were fantastic, helpful but also completely discreet so you barely noticed you were being so thoroughly looked after. So Easy And Stress Free
Having decided on an elopement wedding we searched for a venue and found The Green and we are so glad that we did! From our very first enquiry the staff were all amazing and helped to make planning our wedding so easy and stress free. The recommendations we were given for local hair, make-up and photographer were perfect, the accommodation and grounds exactly what we had hoped for. We loved getting married in the barn, complete with fairy lights and bunting and, as we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day, even at the end of October, we were able to make full use of the grounds for our photographs. One Of The Most Perfect Days
Me and my partner eloped here a few days ago and it was one of the most perfect days of our lives Everyone was so kind, professional and helpful... our day ran like clockwork! Our cottage, the surroundings and the barn were simply beautiful. We were just so with everything! The 3 course meal made by Tom was delicious and the best food we’ve ever had!! We are only sad that we can’t do it all over again!I can’t speak for big weddings but this is definitely the place to go if you want an elopement wedding tailored to you! Son's Wedding
We went to the green for our sons wedding in December 2017. Wow. It was beautiful. I don't think you could find a better venue to get married if you tried. We stayed for 2 days. The accommodation was 1st class. They have everything you need. They even had tea coffee sugar and milk waiting for you. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was warm. The grounds are beautiful. We all gathered in the big house on the eve of the wedding and started the celebrations early. The wedding itself was perfect in every way. The staff were fantastic. The food was gorgeous. I cannot find anything wrong with the place. I wish we could do it all again as it was so perfect. The photographs were beautiful. A Beautiful Venue
A beautiful venue, lovely accommodation, yummy food & a friendly and very organised team. Michelle was on hand throughout the whole planning procedure to answer any questions that popped up along the way & Charlotte the events manager was fab and because of her we managed to get the perfect photo on the day with an amazing rainbow! Our day went so fast we can't believe it's been a week already! wish we could of stayed longer! A great venue for all weathers and very little decorating is needed as it's all ready stunning. Our Perfect Wedding Day
We got married at the beginning of September and had a truly magical wedding day at The Green. The day went like clockwork which was down to the fantastic team at The Green. Michelle guided us through all the planning in the months before and Fiona was with us from first thing in the morning until the party ended at midnight. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and we had many comments. The accommodation again faultless and has everything you would need and more. The day was overwhelming in the beautiful surroundings. Our 80 guests all enthused about our perfect day. We were lucky enough to get married outside which was what we were ideally after. The venue gives you a feeling of calmness which may be needed on the day with pre-wedding nerves! We had booked the venue from the Friday until the Monday and really did not want to leave.

Perfect Wedding Venue!
We held our wedding for 80 people at The Green in September and we cannot thank the team enough for all their hard work to make our day so special. We knew this would be our venue from the moment we visited, it really does have that something special we were looking for. We stayed on site for two days meaning that we could extend the celebrations to the night before with close family and friends. The onsite accommodation is perfect and all of the guests were so happy with the beautiful cottages. Having two days also meant we had plenty of time to set up the day before the wedding, knowing it was all ready the night before allowed the morning of the wedding to flow smoothly. The venue itself is stunning and there are so many different areas to make use of, both indoors and out. The red brick barn is the perfect party space, it looked truly stunning on the day and the set up with the dance floor in the middle of the room meant that everyone was up and dancing! The team were fantastic and could not be faulted. The food was absolutely delicious. We could not recommend this venue more for couples who are looking for an extra special venue that still feels so relaxed and down to earth with the scope to put your own stamp on it.Lucy H - Spetember 2017
Incredible Wedding Day
We are still overwhelmed with how amazing our wedding day was on 27th May. The weather was perfect and the green was the perfect venue, it had plenty of room for our 140 guests. We had exclusive hire of the whole venue, we used the new red brick barn for our main reception, which was the perfect space for the best party ever !! It was stylish and relaxed at the same time. What blew us away the most though, was the hospitality and organisation of the green team, who were instrumental in helping us pull off what was the best day of our lives! Having our closest family and friends staying onsite as well, in the 5 star accommodation was wonderful and meant people could roll off the dance floor at the end of the night and straight into bed! The Green, Cornwall – Perfect
To be completely honest we could have got married in a multi-storey car park, as all we wanted to do was to share our vows, and to be married to each other.But we wanted to find somewhere more special, and to be able to have the perfect ceremony, the perfect experience, the perfect day. We feel so lucky to have found The Green, as not only was it the perfect location for our wedding weekend, but also had the perfect people to help us.
The weekend itself was as perfect as we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived and sat down with Kate to sort out the final few details, to the moment we drove away in the rain wishing we could have done it all over again the next day. All the guests staying with us over the weekend we blown away by the quality of the facilities and the cottage.
The ceremony was fun and full of love, and one of us looked a lot more beautiful than the other one. After drinks in the Green Room, it was time for the party to start in the Red Brick Barn which looked flawless.
The entire day and night (and late into the night) was orchestrated seamlessly by Kate, she simply was incredible. I think it summed it up when one of our friends said to me “I want a Kate, to just sort everything out for me as well!” Thanks to everyone at The Green, you are amazing, our wedding really was the most incredible day of our lives.

It Was Absolutely Perfect
I just want to live my wedding day all over again! It was absolutely perfect, and the staff completely put you at ease and have everything covered. Even my dad said we couldn't have chosen a better venue - (and he's someone who always says something is 'fine'!) it wasn't the weather we wanted - but we did choose to marry in November. My Best Friend's Wedding
We had my best mates wedding here and I can say this place is fabulous. This is one of the best place I have ever stayed for a wedding. The wedding planner Fiona and her team worked so hard to make this a day my mate would never forget. My mate hired out the whole place and we met the night before which was a great idea and gave time for everyone to meet up. The main house is a brilliant central point and about 12 or more stayed their. The whole site was spotless and the reception room where the meal and disco were held was fantastic. We could not have picked a better venue, The Green is absolutely stunning and we loved every second of our day. We chose The Green for it's location, the views are stunning, and the ease of having onsite accommodation made it so easy. The Perfect Venue For A Wedding Whatever The Weather
We had our wedding at the Green at the end of July 2017. We honestly could not rate them highly enough - this is partly down to the incredible staff who think of absolutely everything and are there for you for anything you want. IN particular Kate and Michelle were incredible and really made a difference. The food - oh my goodness - it is astounding! Way above our expectations and everyone commented on it. The accommodation is absolutely stunning - clean, stylish and comfortable. The new barn has to be seen to be believed - we were so glad to be able to have our wedding breakfast and evening reception there. The weather was pretty bad for our wedding but I can honestly say that with a venue like The Green it didn't matter at all! Great value for a wedding and can't recommend it enough :)

Best Wedding We Have Ever Been To
We have been to a lot of weddings and we can honestly say that this was the most memorable. We stayed for a whole weekend and every detail was just spot on! The whole family had the best time and it was so lovely to spend more than just the wedding day together. We had a meal on site the night beofre and the food then and on the wedding day itself was to die for! The accommodation was extemely comfortable and well appointmed. Everything we saw at the whole venue was well maintained and cared for. The weather was not ideal on the day itself and the ceremony was held indoors in the end. The function rooms are gorgeous and the way they are used is well thought out. This meant that the weather on the day didn't really matter. The couple managed to get outdoors for some pictures in the grounds which are stunning. The staff were on hand throughout and were very helpful to us and to our young children with nothing being too much trouble. Could Not Have Found A Better Venue
We could not have found a better wedding venue than The Green! Everything was absolutely perfect. From the first visit we knew it was exactly what we wanted and had imagined for our day. The communication from the staff leading up to the day was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We hired the venue for the weekend meaning all our family and close friends could stay on-site with us which really added to the experience. Our guests were so complimentary of the venue, asking how we had found such a wonderful place and the whole day ran seamlessly despite the on and off rain showers! Little touches really added to our day like our cards and gifts being moved in to our cottage ready for us to open at the end of the evening; and we were at ease and didn't have to worry about anything for the whole weekend. Perfect Location For our Small Family Wedding
We got married in the Wedding Barn on 1st August 2017, travelling down from Somerset with 14 of our close friends and family. We loved The Green right from our first visit, it was absolutely perfect for the intimate wedding we wanted along with the rustic style. The house, cottage and grounds are all lovely, the views are fantastic and made for some really good wedding photos. The staff were really helpful in the lead up answering our questions and recommending suppliers, and on the day Fiona helped to put us both at ease. We opted for the BBQ menu which was excellent, as well as breakfast the following morning which was just as good. If We Could Give More Stars We Would
Firstly if we could give The Green more stars we would. The Green is not not just about your wedding day, it is about making memories to last a life time not only for us as the Bride & Groom, but also for our wedding guests. I don't see how any other venue could have created this for us. The intimacy of the wedding barn, the beautiful surroundings, the amazing food, the fantastic support from Mike, Moira, Michelle and Kate and the whole weekend was made perfect by the perfect venue. Even though we had dreamed for 2 years of having an outdoor wedding, the Cornish weather looked against us and we swapped the main marriage ceremony too the wedding barn. Our guests said it was the most intimate wedding they had ever been too- all the men were in tears. We had our main wedding breakfast in the Red brick barn with a rustic theme which worked perfectly. We then had our local vicar come to the venue and had a beautiful blessing outside on the arbour after the weather cleared followed by a live band and hog roast. Amazing From Start To Finish
My husband and i got married at the green on 25th May 2017, it was amazing from start to finish. We booked way back in 2015 and from that first visit we knew it was the perfect place, the staff have been amazing helping organise the big day the whole way through. We live over 370 miles away and could only visit twice before the wedding, plus I'm not the best with organising and making decision but they made it all so simple and easy for us, helping with suppliers and always being on the other end of the phone or email to answer my silly questions and requests, which towards the end was a lot!!. The venue and, location is stunning, our guest were amazed at how beautiful it was and were talking about it for weeks after. The food on the wedding day and cooked breakfast the day after was fantastic. Loved Every Second Of it
We got married at The Green in June 2017 and we loved every second of it! The whole weekend was perfect. The venue is beautiful and we got to share it with 32 of our friends and family all weekend. Moira and Michelle were brilliant when we were planning the day and made it so much easier organising the wedding from afar. All the information and recommendations that we got from them really helped us plan the day that we wanted. Making Magical Memories
Choosing The Green as our wedding venue was the best decision we could possibly have made. In fact, we didn't even consider anywhere else. We hadn't even seen it with our own eyes- we just knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our big day! We live abroad, so trying to plan a wedding from another country was not the easiest thing. But we had no worries on that front with the help of the staff- especially Michelle, whose job it was to coordinate everything with us. Everyone involved showed us nothing but excellent and professional service throughout the whole process. We spent the whole time without a care in the world as we were guided along the way, with every detail being taken care of for us. Now I know this sounds like a complete cliché, but the entire experience was nothing short of magical for me- it was literally the best day of my life! And that's the way it should be. What it all boils down to is that there's no better place to choose to celebrate your big day than The Green. We couldn't have been happier with our experience- in every way imaginable. Wedding
We booked our wedding at The Green for the 29th April 2017. The planning and communication was fantastic, everything was so organised and we felt very relaxed and at ease. On the day Kate was fantastic, everything was thought of, the sun shone, we managed to have the wedding outside- surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our Most Perfect Wedding
We booked The Green in November 2015 for an April 2017 wedding. From the initial visit until our wedding day the care, communication and attention to detail provided by everyone at The Green was second to none. From the time we arrived for our Wedding Weekend, our 30 guests who were staying on site, were in awe of the location. The cottages were beautifully presented and everything you could need for a weekend was available. Our dedicated event organisers - Michelle and Kate were available for our every whim, they could not have been more accommodating. They knew exactly what to do and when to do it - their timing was outstanding. Both the wedding breakfast and the evening food was outstanding, even our fussy eaters made comment on how good the food was. Our gluten free and allergy guests were so well accommodated - the catering staff made a point of finding the gluten free guests and ensured that even the canapes were presented seperately. I have heard so many brides say that they wish they had done some things slightly different...... I can honesty say that they only thing I would wish, is to do it all again. It was the most magical and perfect weekend and I would not change a thing.

Just had the most amazing time at my daughters wedding. The Green is definitely a 10 star place. Everything was perfect and the staff could not do enough for us.. they were there, friendly, polite and helpful at every turn. The place is amazing, beautiful surroundings, so quiet and comfy and so relaxed. Guest at cousins wedding here on Easter Saturday. Perfect location, absolutely glorious and stunning countryside location with a variety of choices of buildings to use, inside and outside. The ceremony was beautiful, great choices of scenic locations for photos, wedding breakfast was amazing, every course was delicious. Evening buffet equally delicious. The staff were attentive and worked really hard to make this a very special day. The whole day was professionally presented. Worth the look if you are planning a wedding. Perfect wedding choice!
The Green was the first, and only, venue we looked at for our march wedding, it had everything we wanted; beautiful grounds, accommodation for the family and allowed us to spread our wedding out over a whole weekend! The team were very helpful in the run up to the wedding, I was constantly emailing Michelle with questions to which she responded to very quickly and with much patience! When it came to the big day the weather was horrendous, but thanks, in part, to The Green team this didn't spoil our day! We got married in October 2016. The day could not have gone better, the venue is amazing, exactly what we wanted, with a great indoor and outdoor option, very secluded and welcoming with amazing views. Booking was so easy, Moira and Michelle accommodated our requests to look around a few times and book the days we wanted for our wedding. On the day, Kate was amazing, what an asset she is to the team. We got married in December at the Green. was perfect. We had a small family celebration, the staff were fantastic, we had a family memer fall ill after we had booked and they did everything they could to help her get to the ceremony. This meant the world to her and us! We decorated the barn but the staff used their decorating skills to decorate the dinning room whilst we were having pictures taken, it was beautiful. gorgeous setting and was perfect for our day.

It was perfect
My husband and I got married at the Green in July 2016. It was perfect. The venue, the food, the accommodation...everything was spot on. Moira and her team all helped us make our dream a reality, nothing was too much problem and the were helpful, friendly and professional at all times. We had our closest friends and family stay the whole weekend and another 35 or so guests come for the wedding. On the day, I didn't have to think about anything, Kate made sure that what needed to happen did, she was brilliant!
We were fortunate to get married outside and had perfect weather, the day was amazing and exceeded my expectations in so many ways, my only problem was that it went far too quickly.
I have such fond memories and a lot of our guests were blown away by The Green and loved it as much as we did...it will always have a very special place in my heart.

Truly a mesmerising day
We got married at The Green on the 29th September 2016. From the moment we saw the venue online we knew this is where we wanted to go, and after a few discussions with staff on the phone, we felt so reassured that despite living in Leicestershire, we could make our wedding in Cornwall magical. The Green was perfect, immensely secluded, surrounded by stunning scenery, but spacious enough for guests to go and explore. The house accommodated most of us and we hired two extra cottages, one for my husband and I and another for my parents and brother. A chef cooked all our meals from scratch for the 3 days, and they were all simply delicious! On the day itself, everything was organised so perfectly by The Green. All I had to worry about was getting ready! Fiona was fantastic at organising the registrars, the photographer, the florist and the cake delivery. We just wanted to say that we had the greatest time while we were at The Green. It was such a hidden gem and made our day so full of fun and laughter. Our day was beyond perfection and one we will never forget
We got married at The Green Cornwall on Thursday 26th January 2017. What a magical time from start to finish. We were greeted on arrival by Michelle and Kate and made to feel special from that moment on. We stayed in cottage one which was perfect. On the morning of the wedding Kate made sure every detail was covered and me feel relaxed. The registrars were absolutely amazing and we couldn't of wished for anyone better to marry us. We said our vows in the barn, which was beyond perfect. That evening Tom the chef came to our cottage and cooked us an absolutely stunning three course meal, to be honest we were a tad nervous about this but Tom was great, very chatty and happy. We could not have hoped for a more perfect and relaxed venue for our day. We had an amazing stay at the Green. All staff went above and beyond to make our wedding so special and memorable. On the day we arrived the fridge was stocked with goodies and made extra effort to provide special dietary requirements that we had. They made sure that we knew what was going on all the time and they took care of everything that we could of been stressed about. The day of our wedding was so relaxed and calm, the barn where we got married was decorated beautifully and the grounds where we had our photos were lovely. The registrars were very kind and talked through everything we needed to know before the ceremony which took our nerves away. On the evening of our ceremony a chef came to our cottage and cooked us gorgeous meals that we had chosen beforehand. She also left a breakfast hamper for the next morning. The Green was our first choice for a countryside wedding in Cornwall and we booked it just based on the photos alone. At first we had wanted an intimate wedding of 12 which would have been perfect in the lovely big house when we decided we wanted to include more family members and friends and we were lucky enough to make the wedding bigger and book the entire venue for our 35 guests. Kate looked after us on the day and she was fantastic from start to finish, nothing was too much of a big deal and she did an amazing job. My husband and I got married here on 01 September 2016 and loved how private and secluded it was. It ticked all the boxes. It was very convenient to be able to accommodate all our guests on site- we had 11 guests staying in the main house and we stayed in one of the one bedroom cottages. We had our wedding breakfast cooked by The Green's chef and the food was incredible. Amazing how one person can produce such good quality yummy meals for all. On our special day we were very fortunate that the weather was our side and we were able to get married under the lake arbour. The staff helped to make the day flow so well, neither of us felt stressed any step along the way. The Green provide such a personal service, making you feel like nothing is too much trouble. The grounds surrounding the Green are amazing with lots of good spots for photos. There is a natural woodland walk leading down to the lake which I walked down to the service as it added to our woodland themed wedding so well! There is however an easier route down for the bride via a luscious field. A perfect little wedding world
5 star is how we would describe it. It was a perfect little wedding world for our nearest and dearest to celebrate together. Our wedding was in July so we made the most of the long evenings, the get together the evening before the wedding for our own bring and share buffet on the huge kitchen table in the Farmhouse, whilst we had the bbq going in the garden, was a great chance for family and old friends to catch up and a brilliant ice breaker for guests who hadn't met before. The accommodation is beautiful, stylish and comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The mirror on the landing by the Bride's room was an excellent addition! The pre wedding day meeting on arrival with Michelle and Kate was absolutely excellent and really gave us huge confidence that the wedding day would run as smoothly as it did! The food was absolutely delicious and real quality, served so efficiently and with style. Loads of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly it was served. We had the three course sit down meal- other options include shared antipasto platter, bbq, hog roast or afternoon tea. Kate was our coordinator on the day, and we couldn't praise her enough! She was there throughout, not just organise the practicalities, but as a real support and friend to us from the evening before right up until she finally went off duty at gone midnight on the wedding night. We spent a long time trying to find the perfect wedding venue but only one matched what we wanted! The Green was just us completely! I made the initial contact with Michelle and she couldn't have been more helpful, and explained the package that would suit us. Closer to the time she checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and were ready to go. On arrival we were blown away. It was even more beautiful than it had appeared on the website. After checking in, Michelle showed us The Green's Wedding Barn. We had previously opted to be married in our cottage but instantly fell in love with the barn. On our wedding day Fiona looked after us. We nicknamed her our 'Wedding Fairy' and she went about checking we were ok and got the barn ready for us.The facilities were 5*. We couldn't fault anything at all. We were so sad to leave that we checked if the cottage was empty for us to stay an extra night, which gave us an extra day to explore the area. Our experience of The Green can only be described as 5 star. From the moment we first visited the site to our actual wedding day, everything was handled in a friendly, smooth and professional manner. On the wedding morning we used the lawns of the Green for our own yoga class, a real nerve settler! The surroundings are glorious, many guests took advantage of this before the ceremony whilst we utilised these spaces for photographs of our day and a walk the day after the wedding to reflect on it all. Our ceremony day itself was well organised and supported. When it absolutely poured it down, the indoor space was adequate and beautiful enough to cope with all of our guests. The food and support throughout the whole event was so well coordinated and many of our guests commented on their experience. If anyone was to ask us about our time and experience of staying and marrying at The Green we would have to describe the experience as idyllic, picturesque, professional, beautiful, calm, relaxing and joyful. High quality rustic beauty
We celebrated our wedding at The Green in early July this year. I would highly recommend it as a venue if you are a fan of high quality rustic beauty and are looking for somewhere to make a weekend of your wedding rather than just have a set piece one day event (although they do that too). We cannot thank the staff at The Green enough for all their hard work and support in making our wedding day so fantastic. Throughout the planning process we were very well looked after by Moira and Michelle and constantly kept informed and supported in our preparations. The venue itself is set amidst stunning scenery on the edge of Bodmin Moor and is a former dairy farm famous for its Cornish Yarg cheese (try it you won't regret it!). Now it has been beautifully 'done up' as a 5 star accommodation and wedding venue with incredible views and excellent facilities. All our guests loved their cottages/farm house and the chance to escape as a large family/friends group. Perfect wedding venue
We got married at The Green and it was the perfect location for our wedding. We had family staying at The house and we rented cottage 1 for our stay. The scenery is stunning, it is a lovely and quiet location and the barn was perfect for our ceremony. There is an option to have the service down by the lakeside arbour if the weather is ok. We had the caterers cook a meal for us the night before and a chef came to the house to cook our wedding meal and the food was superb. The Green was the perfect place for our wedding. Perfect for a wedding
We choose The Green for our wedding and opted for the aptly named 'elopement package', 2 nights stay and a fantastic wedding day with just the two of us. On arrival our cottage was light and airy, bed was so comfortable and the little welcome package was enough to keep us going, we'd booked the hot tub with bubbly for late afternoon on arrival and that helped us unwind perfectly. The wedding was perfect, we married under the lake arbour with the sound of the river in the background. The registrars were brilliant, really friendly, Fiona looked after us wonderfully and we cannot thank her enough, especially for being one of our witnesses! Our photographer took us to Minions for our wedding pictures and the moors back drop with wild horses was absolutely stunning it's a lovely place and only 5 minutes away. What can I say about The Green, other than it's perfect location and the organisation of our wedding was excellent. From the first point of contact with Michelle everything was well organised and anything we needed was addressed immediately. The photographer and hairdresser recommended to us were so good and helped make our day perfect. The cottage accommodation was beautiful and clean and had everything we could want. We had a chef that came into our cottage on the evening of our wedding and cooked a meal for us which was delicious. In all my 74 years this was one of those memorable day's
The Wedding Ceremony was beautiful, we sat outside and watched the bride and bridesmaids walk to the ceremony. The Groom was waiting with the guests. After the ceremony many photographs were taken we were ushered into the large dinning area. It was a very hot day, but all the doors were open wide with plenty of fresh air. The food was absolutely lovely and so much of it, all well presented and delicious. After we had all eaten and listened to the speeches we were directed over to another area where there was coffee, tea and cold drink's. This gave the staff time to clear away the dinning area ready for our return to watch the bride and groom cut their wedding cake and have their first dance. In all my 74 years, this was one of those memorable day's. Nothing was too much trouble and all the guests we spoke to were full of praise for the venue and wonderful food. An Incredible Wedding Day
We held our wedding at The Green Cornwall on 28th May 2016 using the all inclusive package, which gave us all accommodation on site, catering, band etc. As soon as we drove up to the venue in July 2014, we knew this was the venue for us. We always wanted a very relaxed wedding - no formal receiving line, bubbles instead of confetti, and the ability to set up all my own decorations the day before. The little cottages and house meant we could have 30 people staying onsite with us from Friday - Monday (perfect over a bank holiday weekend) as well as providing our own cottage for two to escape to. The barn for the ceremony was renovated during the 22 months we had to plan our wedding day and slightly modernised and extended - it is now larger, lighter and even more beautiful. And The Green was the perfect size for 100ish guests. The grounds are stunning so great for pictures and outdoor cocktails (if you are blessed with sunshine as we were). We were also able to put up our own photo booth in the arbour which went down very well. We had a great open day 10 months before with other couples who had booked the venue and got to taste the huge range of options for the catering, as well as remind ourselves of the layout of the venue which helped with all the planning. We didn't want the formal sit down, three course meal but also aren't fond of buffets so opted for the sharing platters instead. The food was very tasty and fresh (especially the Cornish Pasties which we had for our evening food). The catering team were very helpful and made some good suggestions when we wanted to change the menu a bit. I definitely recommend getting the trio of desserts - they were incredible! Also a big shout out to the wonderful Kate who was our onsite wedding coordinator over the weekend. She was fantastic at putting a perfectionist's mind at rest and helped me enjoy the day itself, Kate also saved the day when we found out our band (we had picked our own separate to their list) hadn't learnt our first dance five minutes before we walked onto the dance floor! Before visiting The Green we had done 3 venue visits, all of which left us with pro's and con's. The Green were the most efficient in getting back to us and arranging a visit. We were with the owner less than 10 minutes and we looked at each other signalling this was the place for us. The grounds are stunning and the accommodation is 5*. The meeting was based around what we were looking for with no pressuring sales pitch or hidden costs. On our way home we decided to book and cancelled our other viewings. During planning the team were always available. Every idea was listened to and accommodated to the best of their ability. They hold food tasting days so that you can sample the different options. The venue provides such flexibility for whatever wedding you want and lends itself to weddings with small children You may be thinking 'we cannot afford that' you will be surprised, you must enquire. The staff work incredibly hard to ensure it all runs smoothly. They say organising a wedding is one of the most stressful things you will do, with The Green stress is alleviated and the excitement is always present. We had the magical experience of hosting our May wedding at The Green. The picturesque scenery paired with the charming venue provided the perfect location for our celebrations. From our first enquiry everything was seamless, Moira and Michelle were amazing throughout, whilst Leigh on the day ensured everything ran like clockwork! Amazing Wedding
We booked our wedding here for the 16/06/16 and stayed for 2 nights. We booked the elopement package so it was just the two of us. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. The scenery and grounds were amazing and we were lucky to have the place to ourselves as it was midweek. It was extremely chilled from the moment we got there. Michelle talked us through what was happening at our ceremony and put us at ease to enjoy the day. The little touches they have make it extra special (champagne and welcome hamper on arrival, wedding breakfast hamper) we got to eat our three course meal al fresco as the weather was on our side, I adored our personal chef (Vito) and the food was beyond exceptional. The team were helpful and we felt they would have gone out of their way to help with anything we needed. Our actual ceremony was done by the lake arbour which was perfect. Amazing venue, lovely staff
My wife and I had our wedding at The Green. It is an old dairy farm with a large house surrounded by a number of cottages and a barn in acres of picturesque countryside. The house and cottages have been renovated to a luxury standard - each cottage has kitchen, TV/DVD, board games, fast wi-fi and bathroom. The grounds at The Green are incredible; acres of grass, woodland and even a small lake. This made for some incredible photos for our wedding album! The venue is only surpassed by the staff here - Michelle, Moira and Kate and the rest of the team were so nice and helpful, they made us and our guests feel really welcome and ensured our wedding day ran smoothly. We decided on booking The Green within a few weeks of first landing on their beautifully laid out website. After spending a few days browsing the web for venues all over the country, we were drawn to The Green mainly for the fact that it's exclusively yours for the whole weekend, 32 people can stay on site, it includes catering, bar, onsite staff, event planner and coordinator, decoration and a band of your choice. This all-in-one package is a pretty niche offering, and I think one of their main selling points. The Green offer everything on one site - outside and inside, hills, a lake, a barn, function room, quaint cottage and a big farm house. We both wanted our wedding experience to be about fun with minimal hassle, and The Green certainly made this a reality. From the moment we booked, right the way through to the follow-up after the day, every single person there went out of their way to answer our (many) queries and deliver things to the schedule we agreed. Their onsite Event Manager Kate, who helped the day to unfold seamlessly, was great - I;m sure people probably pay big bucks for wedding planners like her! Its great how you can visit the site before your big day, meet all the staff and the caterers, taste the food, see the cottages and ask as many questions as you like! The setting is just breath-taking, being so lush and...well, green! It feels like there's no one for miles around, and you really have the place to yourself. There's the option to go for walks around the site, and enjoy the beautiful lake and surrounding fields. The Green is a naturally beautiful venue - we left it completely unspoiled, using the fairy lights and bunting already on display. With the lush green rolling hills, and our flowers we didn't need much else! The cottages really are 5* - immaculate, speakers in every room, lovely bathrooms and kitchen facilities, with an area to eat and sit outside, TV with DVD players, and DVDs and books/Magazines. Another really nice feature was the fact you could play iPod/Iphone music when outside, in the barn and also in the venue. Its handy how you can get married outside or inside, and you don't have to decide until the day. We went for the barn due to the temperature on the day. Both are beautiful. We could not have asked for more. The Green is such a lovely tranquil place it relaxes you from the moment you check into your cottage. My husband and I just wanted something intimate and personal and this ticked every box. The chocolates and bubbly on arrival are a nice touch along with a tasty cream tea, which you can enjoy either in the comfort of your cottage or on your own private patio. From making the booking to walking to the ceremony Michelle is always on hand for any questions you may have and makes an excellent witness! We thank you for all your support. Highly recommended for a stress free wedding!
We saw the website and fell in love with the idea of having our wedding here. We booked before we had seen the venue in person. On a trip to Cornwall we took the opportunity to visit and were not disappointed. The venue was as beautiful and full of character as it looked online. What surprised me most was all the little details, like bunting and fairy lights in the barn to a special speaker system. We left with our questions answered and feeling very happy. Our wedding was only 6 months later, but the team were always in contact informing us of any changes and answering questions. There was a good selection of menus for the wedding food and we were given the opportunity to attend a tasting day. On arrival we met with the team and talked through the schedule of the day which settled our nerves. Guests arrived and every single one thought the accommodations were stunning, no doubt 5*. We only needed one viewing of The Green to know it was exactly the sort of place we wanted to have our wedding weekend. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and you knew they would make sure everything was as you wanted it, yet also for us gave us ideas and support when we were unsure of what we wanted. The venue itself is perfectly set up to be intimate for the ceremony yet big enough to have a good party which was perfect for us. We had exclusive hire of the venue for the whole weekend and couldn't fault the place. Everyone of the guests who stayed onsite thought it was wonderful (despite it raining all weekend) and all the guests who came on the day were equally complimentary. Organisation and the running on the day was fabulous as was the food and the music and we all had a memorable time. Many people commented how 'us' the wedding venue was and this was in a large part down to the wonderful staff who were so accommodating to our wishes for the day. We had a wonderful family holiday in Mid October at The Green. No4 is the perfect accommodation for relaxing and enjoying the delights of Cornwall in the Autumn. The location is ideal for reaching many of the regions key attractions - just want is needed to keep an active 7 year old occupied. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue
The Green is situated in a quaint part of the Cornish countryside that was perfect for our elopement wedding. The Private grounds has picturesque cottages, rolling hills and a lovely lake arbour - which was where our ceremony took place. Our host and wedding planner Michelle was very friendly and had prepared everything we needed to know in advance, so that when we arrived the day before the big day we were definitely more excited than nervous and we were able to relax straight away. The cottage was prepared with a breakfast hamper, Prosecco and chocolates and was very comfortable. We had dinner at a local pub in Rilla Mill and took in the scenery surrounding the wedding venue, where we walked around the grounds to choose which spot we wanted the ceremony to take part in (there were three spots to choose from). On the day of the wedding Michelle introduced us to the registrars to talk through the ceremony and they then set up in our chosen location. The "walk down the aisle" was a walk through the greenery down to the lake arbour- a walk which we went down together. The Ceremony itself was intimate and peaceful - overlooking the lake arbour was definitely a brilliant choice. Witnesses are provided by The Green for elopement weddings, and we were happy to have Michelle and our photographer - Will Mason who had driven all the way from West Wales and back - to be our witnesses. After the ceremony we were free to wander the grounds and have photos taken. Will was excellent with us and his photos were so well done, and the scenery so inviting that his photos of our wedding have been published in a Cornish wedding magazine called Wed Mag. After the photos we enjoyed a bottle of champagne in the outdoor hot tub - situated in the middle of the woodland area of the grounds, and then we had a chef cook us a three course meal at our cottage which was delicious. The chef recommended various restaurants around the local area as we were spending our honeymoon travelling around Cornwall. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. It was perfect in our case of just the two of us going to Cornwall to get married as it was very intimate, peaceful and a gorgeous location to get married. Michelle and the staff were very helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left for our honeymoon around Cornwall. This is the perfect venue for a relaxed and romantic wedding in a beautiful countryside setting. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to get married, surrounded by trees and flowers. The team were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. We live outside of Cornwall so lots of the planning was done over email and phone through Michelle; she was so helpful and quick to respond to all our enquiries and requests! We were married under the arbour followed by Pimm's, music and tasty canapes. The food was absolutely delicious and we many compliments about it. We didn't need to worry about a thing
What can we say that hasn't already been said about this place?! We had our wedding there in June 2015 and enjoyed the most fabulous weekend of our lives. We hired the venue exclusively which allowed us to have 32 of our nearest and dearest to stay with us for the whole weekend, and this combined with the wonderful setting made it a weekend to remember. The accommodation is 1st class, all offering lots of character and charm, but being modern and contemporary at the same time. The grounds are glorious, and beautifully maintanained, with lots of 'tucked away spots' to be enjoyed, and lots of far reaching countryside views. The team at The Green know what they're doing and everything ran like clockwork over the whole weekend, and we never needed to worry about a thing. Big thanks to Moira, Michelle, Lee and the rest of the staff. All of our friends and family haven't stopped talking about this place, and we would wholly recommended it for a wedding venue or as a holiday destination.

A warm welcome and nice personal touches
We had a lovely few days staying in cottage no.4 with our 9 month old daughter. Having the venue for three days was the best decision ever!
We planned a wedding at the Green all the way from Australia with the help of Moira and her team. Everyone thought we were mad planning a wedding from the other side of the world but we found it all very easy, mainly because we felt in such safe hands!The day itself was better than we could ever have imagined! It was the middle of winter but the venue was cozy and warm - even our Aussie guests were comfortable. With the bunting and the fairy lights, it looked magical and was everything we dreamed of. The catering was out of this world and Lynda and her lovely team bent over backwards to make sure it was perfect. The hog roast went down a treat too!
Having the venue for the three days was the best decision ever! It was so lovely to have everyone around the day after the wedding and have big roast dinner together along with a debrief on the big day.

Peace and tranquillity
Perfect...... birds singing, we saw kites and a woodpecker! The cottage was nicely presented, warm and cosy with good facilities. The location is convenient for exploring this part of Cornwall as there is easy access to both coasts. The grounds are wonderful and the views from the cottage are to die for. The cottage was beautiful with lots of extras and added touches, it was very relaxing and quiet. Our elopement wedding was perfect and we loved the range of locations for the ceremony. The arrival hamper, chef service and breakfast hamper was lovely too. The sound system which can be used in every room was a great touch. Beautiful surroundings
The surroundings at The Green are beautiful and it was lovely to be able to open the double doors onto the grass/eating area. We also appreciated the nearby swings, orchard and the lovely grounds to walk around. Inside the cottage the space has been used well to provide good living space even with 2 children. The extras provided in the cottage such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, tin foil was great and not alwys found in other rented properties. Fantastic organisation and communication
We got married at The Green on Tuesday 31st March in cottage number five. We wanted a very quiet, intimate wedding with just ourselves and three family members. The cottage was absolutely stunning in every way and the views were breathtaking. We chose the chef service after the ceremony which involved our very own chef cooking for us in the cottage, the food was absolutey gorgeous (3 course meal). Truly amazing venue
What can I say..I can't fault my wedding weekend (Friday -monday) at the green.. From the moment we booked our wedding 2 years before the staff were always there to ask questions or to pop up and have a chat. We arrived on the Friday and we had a meeting about the itinary of the wedding day..They wernt pushy and just made me feel very special..They helped me set up the reception room and gave me ideas where to put things. After the setting up ..We were left to our own devices and spent the evening with our families and friends who also stayed in the beautiful cottages. The wedding day was just amazing ..The backdrop, the milking barn (where we got married)and the reception barn looked beautiful.The food was lovely my mum said it was the best meal she had ever had. Unforgettable wedding
We are so so pleased that we decided to hold our special day at The Green. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting, our wedding day was everything we wanted & more. Ideal venue for rustic style wedding
We hired 'The Green', all cottages & the farmhouse, for our daughter's wedding for the whole weekend of 1st November 2014. We had a lovely weekend with all of our relatives being able to stay in the beautiful, well equipped cottages and Farmhouse. The staff were very helpful and always available if we needed them. The Wedding Ceremony took place in the 'Barn', decorated tastefully, even with fresh bales of straw for the Bridesmaids to sit on! 'The Green' proved to be an ideal venue for a 'rustic' style wedding. (And it stayed dry for us!) The Wedding meal & reception was in the 'Green' room, with ample space for our guests - 60 for the meal & over 100 for the evening reception.The room was looking spectacular, with beautifully decorated tables and suitable lighting. Beautifully presented and well equipped
The location is out of the way (but that's what makes it so peaceful) and yet, it's close enough to get to Bodmin Moor, Liskeard and even the seaside (Looe). The accommodation is, as they say, beautifully presented, very clean, with a very serviceable kitchen. I stayed in the house but saw a number of the cottages, which were equally beautiful. The 2 showers were hot and powerful and there was a bath if preferred. The wedding ceremony was outside, the reception was inside a marquee, the food was delicious and there was lots of it, the staff could not be more helpful. It would be fair to say that The Green and its staff made the wedding a pure joy - before the guests made it special.If you don't like feather pillows or duvets, tell staff! It gets quite warm otherwise.

We didn't want to leave
We had the most perfect and intimate wedding at The Green in August.We had good communication with Moira and Morwenna leading up to our stay. Nicola and Kirsty put together the most beautiful flowers and cake.
We had the chefs service in our cottage following the wedding and the food was delicious. I really can't find enough words to express how friendly everyone was and how relaxing The Green is. The Green is so close to places like the Eden Project and Looe, which are great days out.
With two teenage boys I worried that there wouldn't be enough for them to do, but I was wrong, they loved it!
The local pubs were friendly and served good food at great prices, all within a walkable distance from The Green.
Cottage number 5 was clean,spacious and had beautiful views, we did not want to leave!!
We will definitely return to The Green in the future.

Good communication leading up to the wedding
Myself and my wife had our wedding here a month ago. All throughout we had had good communication with Moira and Morwenna and at no point did we ever feel the need to panic. The wedding went without a hitch and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.A fantastic setting made better with the weather. All the guests loved the location and the cottages, which were clean and bright.
Would recommend for an event or a holiday as the surrounding countryside is fantastic. Will no doubt be back here for a break in the near future.

Amazing wedding with special memories
Well all I can say is what an amazing venue!!!! The cottages and the main house are superb, staff are so friendly and helpful, we loved every minute. We got married here in late May 2014. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the accommodation is of a very high standard. It was wonderful to have so many of our close friends and family staying on site. Moira, Mike and Morwenna are lovely people and that made planning the wedding much easier. On our wedding day they were on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our ceremony was in the barn which created a very special atmosphere, and the Green Room was perfect for dinner and dancing later on! Where do I begin... 2.5 years ago we looked and booked and we finally tied the knot on Saturday 4th October 2014, and what a lovely stay we had from Friday till Monday. We could not have been luckier with the weather! Close to nature
We liked how quiet it was here, and how close we felt to nature during our stay. The privacy in the cottages was a plus, we were in a detached cottage so we had privacy but didn't feel alone. Relaxed atmosphere
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the silence at night! We liked spotting the buzzards, watching them circle above the fields. We liked that our cottage was close enough to the other guests that we didn't feel alone but far enough away to have our privacy. Well kept grounds and beautiful views
We had a fantastic stay at The Green. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were impressed by the eco credentials - ground source heating and fresh water from a borehole. The grounds were well kept with beautiful views, this made for some lovely walks to start/end the day which the whole family enjoyed. The venue of our dreams
I don't know where to start recommending The Green for a wedding. We had our wedding there on Saturday and brought 60 guests from the north to stay on site. The staff, the venue, the catering, the scenery and the accommodation (house and cottages) are second to none!!!! They could not do enough for us. We would recommend a three day wedding to anyone at The Green. No venue can ever be as good as The Green. The whole package from start to finish was amazing. We loved the little touches
We’ve just come back from a weekend at The Green. The photos simply don’t do the place justice. We stayed in Number 2 and the accommodation is amazing, stylish, contemporary but most importantly warm! which is important at the end of February. We loved the little touches, pint of milk and freshly ground coffee. You can see the love and money that has been put into the restoration of the barns and main house. We stayed at The Green for a short break with our toddler and baby. The cottage was beautifully decorated inside and to a very high standard. The baby pack had everything you could possibly need, they even bought an extra booster seat for us. We had meals from their delivery service which were fresh and very tasty. Perfectly located

The location is so tranquil, the stroll to the local pub is perfect for a pre evening meal distraction and The Green is perfectly located for surrounding attractions of both walks or a trip to the seaside in Looe. We had a lovely time in Number two, very relaxing. The weather was freezing! but it did not stop us from visiting the beach. Fantastic cottage everything you need and more. Had a really good holiday would like to come back and bring the children. Visited the Camel trail (bit wet) but had a great time. Ate at some lovely pubs and restaurants managed to get in to Jamie Oliver’s 15 one day and had a superb meal. Stunning early morning views
We stayed in Cottage 2 which was a beautiful 2 bedroomed converted barn. It had all the modern amenities we needed. The grounds were lovely and the views across the valley early in the morning were stunning. There is a wildlife pond with resident ducks too. Easy walks to local pubs that served good beer and food. Dog friendly accomodation and local pubs meant our 4 legged friend could holiday with us. Stunning location
Stunning Location Wonderful few days away, staying in cottage number 3. Lovely decor, stunning views, very clean and well equipped. We stayed with a 6 month old and 3 year old and the cottage suited us well, although I think 4 adults may find it a little cosy. There are steps to the first floor entrance and 2 small internal steps so not well suited to those not steady on their feet. There is a baby pack available with lots of extras (back pack, blender, toys) to borrow free of charge, although you need to book this early, we missed out on many items as they were already booked during our stay. We also tried out the food delivery service which was really convenient, catered for special diets and very tasty. The little walk to the pond and river and the childrens play area were a lovely extra too.Tripadvisor June 2012

We have had a great week the cottage is lovely. Things we have done – Camel Trail cycling – hired from Bodmin bikes – very new bikes. Padstow took an hour to get there but well worth it. Slot machines at Looe. Lovely lunch at the Courtyard down an alleyway. Polperro – lovely Cornish fishing village. Great walks from the cottage. Felt at ease here
Romantic cottage in Cornwall - Our first visit to Cornwall and what a great one it was. Fantastic accommodation, great views, and we were so lucky to have amazing hot weather. The cottage is absolutely stunning and we felt at ease here. It was also lovely to know that we could call Moira if we needed anything although everything was covered. The location was great to get around Cornwall and we had a lovely day at Looe beach. We also visited the Adrenalin Quarry to go down the Zip Wire which was so much fun. Everything we were looking for
We were looking for a little traditional looking place….with high standards….peace and quiet….to get away for a week. We found all of that here at The Green. This small group of high spec cottages have been done really well…(even in our cute little cottage for two we had dishwasher / washing machine etc)...under floor heating throughout…..good bathroom with full size bath & shower…nice linens. Owners checked in on us to make sure we were ok…...and also helped out by taking in some birthday flowers that were delivered. The only noise we had at night was a bit of a “hoot off”....between a couple of owls for a few mins as darkness fell! The location was perfect for our aim of rediscovering many of our old childhood beach holiday haunts on both the north and south coasts….plus lots of great countryside in between. Liskard is only a few miles drive away for all normal requirements….supermarkets….banks….general small high street stuff. In the village close by (walk-able either down the lanes or across the field) there is a pub Manor House that serves food also. Would recommend if your looking for a good standard in this location.Tripadvisor February 2012

Enjoyed the peace
I stayed at No 1, The Green in August / September 2011. I was looking for comfort, quiet and reflection and found these in abundance. The village of Rilla Mill was friendly, the setting of The Green itself beautifully tended and the cottage finished to an extremely high standard. The consideration given to the layout of the cottage in which I stayed, was very impressive. Such good use of space ensured that the place always felt airy. I was especially pleased with the level of cleanliness – so often an issue in holiday properties. No 1 was spotless and felt fresh. Management felt accessible without seeming in any way overbearing. Beautiful surrounding grounds and cottage
Had a great time, despite the rain. Plenty of lovely areas around to visit. Cottage and surrounding grounds are lovely - so peaceful! everything we needed was provided, and it has been a very comfortable place to stay. With a little one we didn’t make much use of the local pub/restaurant, though we did brave it on our last night, and it was worth it. Watching the wildlife was great - open your windows to rabbits and occasionally a woodpecker. Also there are a pair of falcons to be seen (and heard) circling overhead. Owls and bats at night too. Particularly liked St Ives but Fowey and Padstow are worth a visit too. Eden is excellent.August 2011
