In Holidays
[text_output]Well can you believe it? We are into June and school holidays  are approaching fast. What can you do to occupy the children ? Why not book a break here at The Green Cornwall. There is so much to do locally and further afield that you wont know what to do first.

The Eden Project is only a few miles away where there is always something to do and see for both the old and the young. With cafés and shops and of course the Biomes, as well as themed activities for all ages and if you are feeling brave you could have a go on the Zip Wire. For animal lovers we have The Tamar Valley Donkey Park which is only half an hour away at St Annes Chapel. You can ride on the donkeys, play outside in the grounds or if its wet there is a large indoor play area ,where you can sit and relax while the children play. There is also a café and gift shop, where you can adopt a donkey.

If you like walking then you won’t  get better scenery and walks than the moorland at minions, which is only five minutes away by car or a bit longer if you chose to walk. The old mine engine houses can be seen dotted around the moorland , and a visit to the Hurlers and the Cheesewring are a must if you are interested in the local history. There is a shop and café in the village as well as the local pub which is called The Cheesewring.
Of course we can’t forget the beaches ,as the weather is definitely getting warmer.
Looe is only a short distance away with its many shop,s and cafés and long sandy beach .
In the opposite direction you will find Bude with its lovely sandy beach at Summerleaze which also has a sea pool where you can swim in the sea without the   worry of the waves  and currents .
Again as in any seaside town there is an array of shops and café’s for you to visit. The amount of beaches is too long to list but go online to find your favorite or maybe find one you haven’t been to before or maybe just drive until you see somewhere you like.

The places to explore either on foot or by car are endless before you come back to your cosy cottage to relax and unwind.[/text_output][share title=”Share this Post” facebook=”true” twitter=”true” google_plus=”true” pinterest=”true” email=”true”]
