Late Summer Wedding
Anna and Joe were married at The Green in September 2016. Weather-wise the day itself was a perfectly bright and clear late summer’s day. The ceremony was held outdoors under the Oak Arbour. The details were elegant and simple with lots of personal touches. A handmade rustic sign let guests know what to expect during the course of the day. The couple chose bright reds to add a dash of colour and we think that this works beautifully. Friends and family threw pompom confetti to celebrate and some of the littler guests even helped us to pick it up! Bunches of scented lavender worked perfectly as simple but effective aisle decorations on the ends of the chairs. A few paper lanterns were hung in the trees and looked stunning. After the ceremony canapés and Prosecco were served on the lawn. The couple took a stroll through the woods for some romantic couple shots in the woods and by the lake. Everyone enjoyed a 3 course meal together before the band set up and the evening celebrations began. The 2 days were rounded off with a big breakfast get together before guests headed home.
