So, what’s new? So so much….
It’s almost a year since we got our wedding license and we have met some lovely couples along the way. We’ve seen our venue transformed from a vintage tea party to a fabulous festival to a summer fete. We’ve had really lively dos and quite a few elopements. Every one of our weddings has been stunning and unique. We’ve taken delivery of our awesome marquee extension which doubles the size of the Green Room and we have converted our old milking parlour into our stunning wedding barn. The Green is a perfect venue, rain or shine, indoors or out. We’ve met some amazing suppliers along the way and we’ve handpicked the best for our for our couples. Some see a blank canvas and design every detail themselves. Others take advantage of our all inclusive weddings and let us cover the details. Wet? Who cares?
Given that we’ve not had the driest summer on record (ahem) we decided to convert one of our old cornish stone milking parlour to be a brand new wedding barn. This stunning room with it’s original oak beams is licensed for ceremonies; perfect for cosy winter weddings, or if its wet or just because it is so damn lovely! Use this space in conjunction with The Green Room to suit the flow of your day.

DIY do or DIY don’t!
Some couples like to be involved in every detail of their special day right down to sewing their own bunting! Others don’t want to quite so hands on. At The Green you can do as much or as little as you want. You can have exclusive hire of The Green and put the wedding together yourselves or you can use our All Inclusive option and we’ll sort out all the details for you. Either way, enjoy exclusive use of our 5 star accommodation, 14 acre estate and function rooms. We’re a pretty flexible here so if you want something of your own making but want us to pull it together for you we can do that too. Big Do?
Our marquee extension looks beautiful and does just what we wanted it to; the Green Room now extends into one even larger space. 120 guests can dine together before partying the night away. The Green Room is also licensed for ceremonies. Click for our website
Intimate?
At The Green we can host intimate cottage weddings for up to 6 guests and House weddings for up to 20 guests. We have added a beautiful licensed location beside the lake where we can hold intimate wedding ceremonies in our beautiful landscape. Click for our website.

We love it! But don’t worry if bunting it not your thing. Like lots at The Green, the theme is up to you. It is such a beautiful natural environment with such stunning views you don’t need to add tons of decorations – unless you want to! We’ll help you get it right. Click for our website.
