Lisa and Morgan celebrated with 20 of their friends and family with a beautiful outdoor ceremony held under our oak arbour that had been draped in voiles and dressed with stunning wild flowers and Alice in wonderland props.
They also incorporated into their day a celebrant ‘hand-fasting’ ceremony down at our lake arbour, which was a really poignant part of their day. Hand fasting is an ancient Celtic marriage ritual and it involves tying a piece of material or cord around your joined hands, as a symbolic way of representing union as a married couple.
We absolutely loved the ‘Alice In Wonderland’ theme that was reflected throughout in their stunning wedding cake, mad hatters tea party table décor and props. After the outdoor ceremonies they all celebrated in the house with a Mad Hatter’s tea party.
