This month has been a month of first in a number of different ways with all being a cause of celebration.  The sun has put his hat on, little buds are appearing on the trees so the sight of leaves won’t be far off.  The wood peckers are pecking and the birds are waking us up with their morning chorus, at last the clocks have gone back and the evenings are lighter so you can enjoy your evenings outside and hopefully soon the BBQ will be fired up.

I also made my way out to the viewing point for the first time with its stunning views looking over the countryside towards kit hill, I know I should have gone out there before but with all the rain and bad weather I just couldn’t bring myself to doing it.  What a mistake I was making, I could have spent the day there just whiling away the hours and trying to forget that I should actually be back in the office doing some work.  I must take a few more lunch breaks up there, just to keep reminding myself that actually life doesn’t have to be like a race and taking a step back and enjoying the peace and quiet is a very precious thing to be able to do.

We held our first intimate wedding of the year, with just the bride and groom and her son with even more to celebrate as it was outside.  This was also the wedding that gave us our full hand of forces, having already had the privilege of holding both the sea fairing navy and the land loving army, the groom had us calling rummy as he is from the sky flying RAF.

Now the sun is shining we are looking forward to staying so that couples getting married and families coming on holiday can enjoy all the treat that Cornwall has to offer.
