Woodland Wedding

Kate and Robin married at The Green Cornwall in late August 2017 surrounded by 100 of their friends and family.  The weather didn’t let us down and they were blessed with glorious summer sunshine.

With both Kate and Robin having very important roles in environmental conservation both on land and sea we always knew there would be a big nod to nature.  The whole wedding had a gorgeous relaxed outdoorsy feel to it, with a romantic ceremony held down at our lake arbour followed by a walk through the woodland that had been transformed into an ‘enchanted forest’ with hundreds of brightly coloured origami birds.

Drinks on the lawn were accompanied with lawn games and a Moroccan style chill out zone with rugs, blankets and cushions in the arbour before it was time to handover to Master of ceremonies Theo along with his rather large horn to gather everyone up for their wedding breakfast.

As the sunlight faded the Red Brick lawn was lit up by stunning lanterns on poles and everyone enjoyed an epic bouquet toss before retiring into the Red Brick barn for a night of dancing and a cheese feast!  A perfect end to a perfect day!

Thank you to Kate and Robin for sharing and to Ben Selway for taking these wonderful images.
