Food and drink

At The Green we have an experienced and flexible in-house team of chefs and waiting staff. We work closely with you to ensure that food and drinks reflect your vision for the wedding, while also taking into account any dietary requirements or preferences of your guests. By offering a range of options and being open to new ideas, we can create a dining experience that is truly unforgettable. Locally sourced ingredients where possible add an extra element of freshness and quality to the food, while also supporting local producers and businesses. We offer a range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes.

Having fully stocked bars with a range of options is a great way to ensure that your guests have plenty of choices when it comes to drinks.

The welcome dinner is a great way to start off a two-night wedding celebration! A relaxed and casual welcome dinner creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, while also providing an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and reconnect before the main event. Offering a variety of food options such as pizza and pasta, street food, or BBQ caters to different tastes and preferences.

A continental breakfast is a great option for the wedding day, as it provides a light and easy-to-eat meal for guests while also allowing the wedding couple to follow tradition and avoid seeing each other before the ceremony.

Serving drinks outdoors is a great way to take advantage of the beautiful views and scenery around the venue. We can set up a bar area outside and offer drinks to guests as they mingle and enjoy the fresh air. We have loads of outdoor seating too.

We offer a range of options for the main wedding meal, and are open to creating bespoke menus to suit the preferences and dietary requirements of your guests. A classic three course meal can be a popular choice for weddings, and provides guests with a formal and elegant dining experience. Alternatively, a rustic sharing feast can provide a more relaxed and convivial atmosphere, and can allow guests to sample a variety of different dishes. Creating a bespoke menu can be a great way to add a personal touch to the wedding meal, and can allow you to incorporate unique and meaningful dishes into the celebration. A fully vegan menu or an Indian fusion menu, as examples,  can be a great way to showcase your cultural or dietary preferences, and can provide guests with a memorable and delicious dining experience.

Offering cocktails is a fun and unique way to add a personal touch to your wedding drinks menu. We offer a range of classic cocktails that are always popular with guests.

Evening nibbles such as pasties, grazing platters, or burgers can be a great way to round off the night-time party and keep guests fueled for the dance floor.

We offer a range of non-alcoholic drinks for guests who don’t drink or who prefer to limit their alcohol intake. We offer options such as mocktails, soft drinks, juices, and sparkling water to ensure that everyone has something refreshing to sip on.

It’s always a bittersweet feeling when it’s time to leave a wedding, but at least you can rest assured that no-one will leave hungry! Serving a full and hearty Cornish breakfast on departure morning ensures that guests are fuelled up and ready for their journey home. It’s also a great opportunity for you to say goodbye and thank them for being a part of your special day.
