The sun is shining brightly for an indian summer, why not make the most of this by enjoying a mid-week break and see Cornwall at its best. The streets and beaches have calmed down and everything feels a lot more relaxed and leisurely, this is the perfect time for a visit.
You could even take a short trip to Callington to witness the only Honey Fair left in Cornwall. On the 7th October, hundreds of people visit the town to witness the largest street fair around. There are stalls full of goodies, live music, a fun fair, a town crier competition and the fair has its own theme each year which then becomes the theme for all of the shop windows.
There is such a lot to do and see and the town has such a wonderful atmosphere that it’s not to be missed.
