[text_output]Cornwall has seen a lot of sunshine over the last few weeks, prompting people to get out and about more. What could be nicer than a relaxing barbeque on the beach before they get crowed in the summer?

The sun has been lovely and hot and people have been venturing into the sea. The breeze on the coast has been just nice, without being too windy, which again encourages bbqs. Eating a burger or hot dog as you watch the sun go down over the sea is heaven.

The cottages at The Green are the perfect place to return to after a day at the beach. The warm, comforting cottages, enable you to feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. With all the facilities that you need,  the freedom to come and go as you please and the option of cooking for yourself or eating out, what more could you ask for.
Regardless of the weather though there is always something to do here in Cornwall. Padstow had it’s famous Obby Oss day which was very well attended, with the obby oss’s dancing through the streets. This festival has been going on for many years and is always very popular with locals and visitors alike. The local school children get involved with their¬† bands playing and dancing through the streets.

If your are into surfing or bodyboarding  the RNLI Lifeguards have begun their season of patrolling the beaches, from Bude to Sennen, so try to find a lifeguarded beach where you will be safer.Check out their website for more details.

Also our local Gig Rowing teams have just been to The Isles of Scilly to compete in the National Gig Rowing Championships. You may see the crews training on our rives and off the coast. The local clubs will be competing throughout the spring /summer months in local competitions and holding their own Regattas and these are quite a spectacle! Why not look up the local town information to find out when these events are happening and go along and have a go yourself. Its not as easy as it looks.

With so much coast line to explore, so many parks ,national trust properties and theme parks to visit there is always something to do, whatever the weather,so why not book a weekend ,or maybe a week and come and explore the beauty of Cornwall.[/text_output]
