As we are finally seeing the back of winter and bathing in the warmer climes which spring has to offer, the days are lighter for longer which means you can explore Cornwall until early evening! Why not celebrate this by walking one of the many breath-taking coastal paths.
The Green is perfectly located to allow to to easily access both the North Coast of Cornwall and the South coast.
You could try the walk from Looe to Polperro which takes you around some beautiful bays, one of which being Talland, where you can stop for a refreshment. You also get an unspoilt view of Looe Island which really is beautiful at this time of year. It’s a hilly 4 mile walk to Polperro where you find a picturesque fishing village nestled in the harbour, full of friendly pubs, quaint tea rooms serving creams teas and bakery’s offering the traditional Cornish pasty. If you feel unable to tackle the walk back (we won’t judge!), there is a bus service which runs to Looe or Liskeard. You could always leave your car at Liskeard, enjoy the half an hour train journey to Looe with its stunning views along the estuary and start the walk from the station. Remember to take plenty of water and enjoy.
The Green is pet-friendly too so your dog can enjoy some great coastal walks too!
