We are completely in love with the laid back Boho vibes of Amy and Dan’s Wedding. They celebrated with 100 of their friends and family at The Green Cornwall in May 2015.
We love it when couples put their own unique stamp on their special day and this wedding was bursting with unique style and personal touches from the stunning hired vintage furniture, fabric backdrops in both the barn and green room, stunning boho flowers to the most epic cake table we have ever seen (I think you will agree).
They had personalised cocktails with edible flowers and even a sword to carve the hog roast!
Their ceremony was in our rustic wedding Barn followed by cocktails in the sunshine an intimate blessing down at the lake arbour with acoustic guitar music from a friend of theirs. Amy and Dan had also arranged a treasure hunt in the Grounds for everyone, which was brilliant fun.
Their wonderful day was followed by an equally fab evening with their cousin’s band ‘The Fabulous fug Band’ entertaining the masses.
Here is what Amy and Dan had to say about their day;
“We had the magical experience of hosting our May wedding at The Green, Cornwall. The picturesque scenery paired with the charming venue provided the perfect location for our wedding celebrations. Together, creating a romantic, intimate, countryside setting beyond our wildest dreams!
The spectacular on-site, accommodation allowed us to continue celebrations with our nearest and dearest throughout the weekend, making the occasion all the more special. Each cottage beautifully designed with state-of-the-art facilities and the most comfortable beds! We especially loved quaint cottage no.1 and hosting a BBQ at the house the night before the wedding.
All-in-all, The Green is amazing and we can’t recommend it enough as a spectacular wedding venue and relaxing rural retreat! Our favourite memories include; arriving through the bluebell hedgerows, our lakeside blessing under the arbour, the first slice of hog roast, late night pasties and just generally bathing in the glorious Cornish countryside! We just wish we could do it all over again… and again!”
