Romantic English Wedding

Stunning photos of Jasmine and Will’s romantic English wedding. The feel of the day was understated, elegant, natural and romantic with a Boho edge. They celebrated with 60 of their friends and family.

Jasmine and Will have a stunning eye for detail and made many of their own decorations including the wooden signs, the log slice welcome sign, the menu and table plan which were made from wooden pallets, and the Bride and Groom signs on the backs of their chairs. Jasmine’s family had also got involved in the DIY making the favours for their guests. The ladies were given little heart shaped soaps with dried Jasmine flowers inside. The men were given little hessian bags with sweet William seeds inside to sow in their own gardens and the name settings were sprigs of eucalyptus from her Nana’s garden with printed cards. Jasmine even made and decorated her own wedding cake!!

The whole day had a real family feel about it from the help Jasmine and Will had in the lead up to the day, to her granddad chauffeuring Jasmine and Will in his Morgan, which had been lovingly decorated in handmade bunting by her Nana, Aunty and cousins to Jasmine’s brothers giving her away and then providing the entertainment in the evening dj-ing.

The weather was decidedly English on the day and rain was threatening, luckily Jasmine and Will were able to marry outside at our oak arbour before the rain came and then went up to the moors for photos with their guests.

Here is what Jasmine and Will had to say about their day;

“5 * really is how its described. It was a perfect little wedding world for our nearest and dearest to celebrate together. Our wedding was in July so we made the most of the long evenings, the get together the evening before the wedding for our own bring and share buffet on the huge kitchen table in the farmhouse, whilst we had the bbq going in the garden, it was a great chance for family and old friends to catch up and a brilliant ice breaker for guests who hadn’t met before.   The accommodation is beautiful, stylish and comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The pre wedding day meeting on arrival with Michelle, Kate and catering team, was absolutely excellent and really gave us huge confidence that the wedding day would run as smoothly as it did!
The food was absolutely delicious and real quality, served so efficiently and with style. Loads of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly it was served. We had the three course sit down meal- other options include shared antipasto platter, bbq, hog roast or afternoon tea. Kate was our coordinator on the day, and we couldn’t praise her enough! She was there throughout, not just organise the practicalities, but as a real support and friend to us from the evening before right up until she finally went off duty at gone midnight on the wedding night. Thank you again, Kate, you are a super star xx”

A huge thank you to Jasmine and Will for sharing their stunning wedding pictures and a big thanks to Heather Birnie – ‘A thing like that Photography’ for taking them  http://www.athinglikethatphotography.com
