In Weddings
[text_output]Having just watched the Olympics in Rio it has left us feeling as proud as punch to be British and what better time than now to share the lovely Julie and Tom’s Best of British wedding which was held at The Green Cornwall in May 2016.

It was a beautiful day boldly awash with red, white and blue. Julie and Tom’s day was all about celebrating Britain, family and friends. The weather on the day was decidedly British with a mix of sunshine and showers therefore Julie and Tom opted to be married in our wedding barn before enjoying the British classic ‘Pimms’, playing lawn-games and having photos outdoors.

In the Green Room Union Jack bunting was hung, tables were named after British greats such as The Beatles, Florence Nightingale, David Attenborough and William Shakespeare. In keeping with the theme Julie and Tom had also hired our red Royal Mail Post box for their cards. In the evening everyone partied to British classics performed by The Choons.

Here’s what Julie and Tom had to say about their special day.

“My husband and I spent a few months looking at potential wedding venues of interest to us online. Before visiting The Green we had done three prior venue visits, all of which left us with pro’s and con’s list. From the day we contacted The Green to have a look around they were the most efficient in getting back to us and arranging a mutual time. On the day of the visit, my husband and I were at The Green with the owner for no less than ten minutes and we both looked at each other signalling this was the place to hold our wedding.

The staff at The Green Cornwall work incredibly hard in the lead up to the wedding and on the day to ensure it all runs smoothly. They say organising a wedding is one of the most stressful things you will do, with The Green stress is elevated and the excitement is always present.

It’s a must see venue, and one that you will easily fall in love with. If you are a girl that has dreamt about her wedding day since a young age, The Green is where those dreams can come true. I hope you have a wonderful wedding day and it’s as special as our day was.”

A huge thank you to Julie and Tom for sharing their stunning wedding pictures and a big thanks to David at Alchemy Photography for taking them http://www.cornwall-wedding-photographer.co.uk
